Mysore Palace – A spectacular Palace
The Palace of Mysore commonly know as Mysore palace as is situated in the city of Mysore, southern India. Mysore Palace was the official residence of the former royal family of Mysore. The Mysore Palace was used to for the ceremonial meeting hall of the royal court. The Mysore palace was commissioned in 1897, and its construction was completed in 1912. It is now one of the most famous tourist attractions in Mysore.
Mysore is known as City of Palaces. The Kingdom of Mysore was ruled by the Wodeyar dynasty from 1399 until the independence of India in 1947. It will be spectacular to catch the glimpses of the palaces during night and even more during the Dussehra festival. The experience of Dussehra festival in September - October at the Msyore Palace will be life time experience for the visitors.
