Thousands of people throng to Puri every month to get a glimpse of the beauty and grandeur created by Sudarshan.
Puri is located at a distance of 70 km from Bhubaneswar, the capital of Orissa state in India. It is known as the "Abode of Lord Jagannath". Every year, millions of people gather during the chariot festival in the city, which generally falls in the month of July. If you ever visit Puri, don't forget to visit Puri Sea Beach, where you will find those beautiful sand art and sculpture to mesmerize you.

Thanks for the picture collection of by far the most amazing sand art I have ever seen.
Sudarshan's marvels on sand are simply superb to say the least,these are master pieces of art second to no other form and even if on sand are eternal and like his art he is real treasure for the nation and for his state, needs to be patronised by the zealots the world over. As a person from Orissa i feel on heaven when i see these pictures
